Architect and Builder Referral?

Hey fellow NW 6speeders. I'm thinking about renovating my ghetto lake washington view home (add a floor and fix my basement). Any recommendations for a builder and/or architect? Thanks in advance.

Sorry Jimbo, I didn't think to bump my fellow E39 man up!

Any competition on the 6Speed board for the Low Voltage =)

I can work seamlessly with either of these guys.

Thanks everyone for the feedback and PMs.

Though the housing crash sucks, I'm hoping it translates into good deals with folks in the remodel biz. My tiny ghetto house is in desperate need of an upgrade.

It's been some years since we had work done. But:

Shirey Contracting won't be a low bidder, but does excellent work; reliable (which ultimately saves money over the low bidders).
Michael Bogan (jmbogan.com) just as good.
Not sure if he's still in the area, but Sven Larsen, and independent architecht (was - larchitect@qwest.com; 206-947-9168 cell) does creative work with interesting materials.

Thanks for the info.

For the folks that sent me PMs that I responded too: I'm currently going through the financing part and hope to follow-up with folks when the $$ stuff is all figured out. Thanks again for the messages.
