Gran Prix Imports in Oregon - Closing?

I've been hearing from a few sources that Gran Prix Imports in Wilsonville may be closing by the end of April. Supposedly they have laid off people in parts, service and other areas and have filed paperwork with the State informing of the layoffs. Anybody have any additional information?

If this is the case, this will be sad for Portland as GPI really brought the attention level of exotics to a higher level in the area (especially compared to Seattle). They are also the only authorized Lamborghini dealer in the state.

Another casualty of the economy? I'm sure if they go under, Corporate Lamborghini will come in and swoop up all the new cars rather than watch them get dumped onto the market.

Maybe Cats Exotics can come in an buy up the dealership.

I hope they make it. I called them a couple weeks ago to get the tax info from my purchase and the receptionist is still there. They were the best sales staff I've ever seen.

Reap what you Sow... Not a big fan.. The car business is tough. Let alone when your in a $ 3 - 4 Million building...

They did not deliver on the car I bought from them, broken promises.... I heard the owner needed a tax write off... ( Warren Winch trusty )... Going into the high end car business is a great write off...

What will we do without a Lambo dealer???
