E39 M5 Photo Shoot

Many of you have met Neil (BMWMPWR). Great guy with a super nice M car. He has made it out to a few E@RTC Saturday's as well.

We went out yesterday and took some pics. It was mid afternoon and the sun was real harsh but I made the best of it.

I like the BBK close up -- you can really see the dirt on the wheels

Pics look great -- the uphill grainy pavement one is my favorite.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Yes we shot at Cascadia. Neil uses the Z8 start button because with us clutch stop the clutch doesn't go down far enough to engage the starter. He did a great job on mod.

I agree PJ that is my favorite shot too.

I love E39 M5's. I drove one a couple months ago. It was a Barrier Audi, they were asking around 40K

Are you looking for one? There are some great ones that I know of in the 25-30k range, for 35k you can get a real low milage with some nice mods! For $40k it better be sub 20k miles with CPO =)

PM me if you want any help. I am pretty educated about them and more than willing to help.

who's red one is that? why wasn't it waxed? are you even allowed in Redmond on Saturdays without a 1k wax job?

how come the silverish blueish one has 2 holes in the grill front and bottom and the redish swirly one doesn't?

Maybe when I get some money. I'll PM you if I do end up looking for one though, I know these cars had a couple of problems... But I'm fine with what I have now.

It was a 2002 with around 35K miles on it. Too much IMO.

The 2 holes are cold air intake ducts.
