Lamborghini hit with lemon law because of squeaky brakes

Hahaha... I'm right there. In all the time and money spent on investigating the problem they never thought to replace the pads or maybe pads and discs? Not even the owner, but the company? Something just seems really weird about the story.

Seems to me like they DID replace the brakes and tried fixing the problem 5 times... they couldn't figure out what was causing the noise...

It didn't mention replacing the system in the story. Assuming that they did, I'm still very shocked that it didn't solve the problem. What I wonder is if the owner was getting what most people would view as "normal" brake noise from semi-metallic pads, but just wasn't happy about it in his very expensive car. The last one I drove squeaked a bit when the brakes were cold (Ceramics, but they squeaked nonetheless) and after a few stops they were better.

Funny... my mom just had coffee with this guy, and about a week before this article had come out she was telling me about the very scenario. My brother and I both had to laugh, and I said "tell him to lend me the car for a day, I'll make the brakes stop squeaking "
