Oregon tickets?

Hi all, picked up a new (to me) 911 in AZ and drove back to WA. Had a fantastic time getting to know it in Nevada and along the Gorge (the 30 and 14 are highly recommended), I guess an Oregon ticket was inevitable.

Any referral?

Yep, just pay it...part of the play and pay..

I got one there and paid it as well, while in California if the ticket is under 80MPH, you can take an on-line class once a year and have it taken off $150.00.P

I know people in Oregon do successfully grovel for "driving school". My record's clean and the ticket is pretty ticky-tack, so it seems I should have a good shot, but I'd rather not drive back out there myself.

It's a shame, cuz OR has some really sweet driver's roads, but if they're going to give points on a license for 5-10 mph over the limit type offenses, it makes the whole state a no-go zone. WA, CA, and ID are all more reasonable.

FYI to others, if you call the court clerk and they like you, you can get traffic school in Oregon to prevent a ticket from going on your record. Make sure the cop doesn't write you for 20+ over. Also you have to go to that county to take their traffic school, they don't accept online, which is a pretty big annoyance. Still way better than having a ticket affect insurance.
