I do like old USA cars that are worth having.
The 1964 Olds 442, was the first year of the 442, it is a F85 beefed up with a 4 speed tranny (rare). But what made this car very very special is that it only had 45K plus ORGINAL MILES one owner car..and it has nt been touched, other then new tires. It also has the extremely rare b09 "Police" package option, which was stiffer springs, larger carb with dual snorkel cleaner...it has tons of paperwork from day one. I drove it about 50 miles around scottsdale on Sunday and it was just fantastic car..cant wait till it gets home.
I also bought a 1 of 74 produced AMX 390 4 speed "Go pack" car with the "Big Bad Green" color option. Just has been fully restored and also Sunday drove like a dream.
A 1970 Olds 442 W30 4 speed car, with 67K orginal miles and in fully frame off restored condtion..NOW this is a true muscel car of the times..
1 1967 Shelby Cobra "Super Snake" re-creation, with a true Shelby 427CJ Alumnum side oiler motor..and..well lets just say it scrares the hell out of me on the 101 loop in Scottsdale..makes my old "Elenor" re-creation seem like a "electric car" LOL
I did also buy a 1971 Olds 442 W30 Convert..but about an hour after I bought it, a guy came by and made me an offer I could NOT refuse for the car..so it is not coming home.
