2011 Big Climb for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Hello! It’s that time of the year again. The 2011 Big Climb for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at the Columbia Tower in Seattle. I will be participating in the Big Climb on March 20th. Please consider supporting me with a donation by clicking the link below and the ‘donate’ button with my name above the thermometer. Our efforts will help make a big difference in the fight against blood cancers.

What is the Big Climb?
The Big Climb is a stairclimb up the Columbia Center – the tallest skyscraper in downtown Seattle. There are 69 flights of stairs, 1311 steps, and 788ft of vertical elevation. Although it will be challenging, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients go through. All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Who is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society?
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, LLS has invested more than $600 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.

Just wanted to update everyone with my time this year. I finished in 18:30 on the dot. A little disappointing as last year I finished in 15:38. Oh well. Time to train harder so next year I can knock it out.
Thank you for everyone who donated. It's not too late to donate. I have until April 8th to collect donations. Every little bit helps. If you can spare a few dollars, you can donate to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society here:
