Smile The Pacific Northwest Sports Car Enthusiast Group

Not sure if anyone of you know or heard of meetup.com.

I had good luck finding some great photography meetup. However, there was only 1 car meetup group I found, but I think they are pretty quiet.

Maybe things will get better with more people joining it from our Pacific NW area.

Here is the link: Please check it out, and see if you are interested.

There was a Meetup group started here several years ago, but it died out due to a lack of leadership. The main source of car activity now seems to be the various car forums like 6speed, Teamspeed, DTM, etc.

Organized drives are best handled by the car clubs because of the logistics involved. As a rule organized drives become unwieldy due to the overwhelming demand and the large number of participants who join such an event. Trying to keep 35+ cars on the straight and narrow is a daunting task for any organizer.

If drives/cruises are your thing, it's best to network through the various car groups and hook up with some like minded drivers to set up your own drive with a small group. Besides the forums a good place to network would be Exotics at Redmond Town Center.
