Thumbs up 2 Lamborghini Murciélago's Receive The POG Radar / Laser System * PICS

Hi Guys,

Just a few quick pics of our K40 / Valentine 1 Radar Combo... It features the Valentine 1 system where a conceal display is installed in the rear view mirror with the ****/vol. control on the lower driver side center console panel. The brain is carefully buried/located out of site rendering the entire system pretty much completely hidden when off.

For Laser Protection, a Dual K40 Laser Diffuser System is located in the nose ducts in a way so they are perfectly zero level...

It is not every we day we have 2 of these fine pieces of automotive engineering in the shop so I had to take some side by side pics....

We have found this particular type of installation to be very effective in a wide range of vehicle applications.

For more information about this install, feel free to contact me directly and if you are in our area, we have an event planned consisting of a cruise to our Open House August 9th. Check out the link for more information, thanks and have a great weekend.

Dino,

We would love to see you on our cruise on the 9th.

Jason,

The 9th would be a great time to talk about your radar system.

I know you're going for a clean install, but mounting the jammer heads behind that grill-work is going to reduce their efficacy.

That is true, we recommend them installed with nothing in front of them, but these customers said they would rather them behind the grille because they did not want them visible as it would take away from the look of the car. Again knowingly decreasing the effectiveness.
But I guess the customer is always right, and they were happy with how it came out, so as long as they are happy we are happy

The way these some of these units operate, they're somewhat sketchy as best in optimum conditions. And the K40 isn't the strongest unit out there. I'm not quite sure why they're so popular other than the fact that the dealers seem to push them. Personally I would rather sacrifice come cosmetic appeal in exchange for the confidence knowing that it will work. But you're correct... the customer is always right. As long as they don't come back complaining with a laser ticket it in hand If the customer understood how these jammer heads actually function, they would be better off not installing them at all than to hide them behind the grills.

You guys should look into the laser interceptor product. I've personally tested it. Amazing to say the least. I can hook you up with the US distributor if you like. The LI unit pretty much runs circles around everything else. www.guysoflidar.com did some testing last year that really showed what the LI is capable of. We're still waiting for them to release this year's test results.

I agree with you 100% about the laser mounting, I have personally gone with function, mounting in front of the grill. I personally have great luck with K40, especially the brand new lasers that came out a few months ago. They are smaller and more effective, if you mount two in the front in the grilles of most cars, they are very reliable. I have seen and heard of the laser interceptor product and we are looking into that as a possibility. But, we do really like the k40 systems because they have everything built in with laser and radar, and how stealthy we can do the installations. And again, from our personal experiences we do have a very good history with their performance.

Putting the jammers behind a grill and not perfectly horizontal makes them 'As much use as a Chocolate fire guard'.
