My friends expressed a lot of negativity towards this.. they said that the town of Riverhead would never allow such a thing because of "insurance" reasons. I told them that we would sign waivers of liability.
Also one of my friends told me that the land is sold to a developer and is no longer under Riverhead's control..
STAY TUNED! I WILL FIND OUT ALL THE INFORMATION!

I live right by there. I am not saying that I personally have taken my car there at night when no one is around and it is wide open and nobody gives a crap that you are there pulling 170's out of a gtr. But it is possible if you are in the area to "check it out"

Alright guys..
Well it looks like it might be difficult to get these people to cooperate... I've spoken to people at Farmingdale Republic Airport and they will accept us with open arms!
They asked me "What do you want? We can give you the runway or the parking lot, or both!"
Only thing they ask for is for us to have insurance. I know the Porsche Club that runs at the Coliseum has an umbrella insurance policy so if we can get them to come we'd all be covered.
Prices are not cheap as expected... will run us between $2500 and $3000 for about 6 hours of runway time.
