Cancer Charity Poker Run?

I'm just trying to see if there is any interest for a poker run around the southern CT/Westchester area. I'd like it to be a charity run and have the money go to the American Cancer Society or another cancer charity(I've had a 2 close family members die from cancer). If anyone is interested in helping me out with this, that would be amazing. I've never organized a run before, but I know a few places that may want to sponsor this. We'd probably make a few stops in the Fairfield County area, and maybe make the final stop Lime Rock Park(Possibly get some track time?) So if you're interested in joining just let me know. This would probably happen over the beginning of the summer, so late May or June.

Thanks in advance!

I'm down for this my wife, mother, sister and father have all had cancer my dad just finished his radiation treatments two weeks ago and my sister finished her treatments a month ago. I know what it's like to have a family member with this horrible disease.

Thanks, it's rough what it does to a family. I'm actually taking a leave of absence to be with a family member. I posted a thread with more details but it's not 100% correct. So if you want to sub that Thread, that would be great

If I can get off that weekend I will attend as well. I have had a few family members with cancer and currently someone very close to me has it as well. If you need help with any small things organizing and whatnot, let me know and I'll try to help.
