As we have emphasized before - please be on your best behavior! Any automotive silliness will not be tolerated. We have asked the Chatham PD to be very generous with their ticketing for folks who insist in any demonstrations of speed. We're in a residential neighborhood -- let's be considerate.

Please let your friends in the various forums know about the location and possible date change for this weekend. We don't want to leave stragglers all over North NJ!

Which parking lot? Please go to the back side of the hotel (west side near the
ballroom entrance). If you enter the Hilton lot with the main entrance in front
of you, take an immediate right and follow the internal road around to the back
side of the building

Date: Sunday, August 26
Time: 8:30 am to 11:00 am

This hotel is located off of Route 10, just west of 287. It is easily
accessible from routes 287, 10, 24, 80, 46, and 202 among other major routes. There is a coffee shop insidewith the usual breakfast fare as well as a couple of restaurants including a Ruth's Chris for those of you who want your Sunday meat and potatoes after C&C. And, we have access to the restrooms!

See you all on Sunday. The same courtesies should be in existence here as we have in Chatham --no burning rubber or loud engine revving in the parking lot or leaving the premises. We are guests at the Hilton, and they have been kind enough to let us use their lot with no fees or legal issues. Please respect their property and the paying guests at the hotel.

Folks,

We will be having a C&C meet this weekend on Sunday, September 23. This is a change from Saturday on the original schedule because this is the only day available for us at our 2 potential venues (i.e. Hilton not available at all this weekend and Chatham High only available on Sunday). The fortunate by product of this change is that it is also helpful from a sleep perspective to one of our co-founders who will be attending the Motley Crue/KISS concert on Friday night. :-)

It's been a tough couple of weeks -- we hope everyone is at least beginning to recover somewhat from the storm. In light of the lifting of gas rationing in NJ and power returning to most of us, we felt it was time to gather again. We will be meetng on Sunday, November 18. This time we will be hosted by Paul Miller Porsche, Bentley and Rolls Royce. The details are:

Our hosts will have their Porsche, Bentley and Rolls-Royce new car showrooms and the pre-owned showroom open exclusively for us (it is a Sunday and they are closed to the public) along with refreshments, and at least as important -- access to the restrooms (not for us, of course, for all of you old guys).

Please remember the usual common sense behaviors -- no burning rubber or loud engine revving in the parking lot or leaving the premises. Your car is fast and powerful and therefore, of course, so are you -- we get it. :-) Let's agree in advance that we are all tied for first in terms of powerfulness (like that word?) -- so no need for a contest. We are guests at the Hilton, and they have been kind enough to let us use their lot as a courtesy. Please respect their property and the paying guests at the hotel.
