The new XJ looks too common

unlike the `09 model, that really has a distinction to it.Many won`t like the shape, but it`s classic luxury that gets respect wherever you`ll drive it (try to drive it to Ritz Carlton and see if you or the Mercedes/BMW/Lexus guy gets the first service.....). the new shape will come to close to what Lexus,Acura and the rest already have in the market.Beside that, the quality may drop a bit, since the turnover.....

that car looks crazy modern and I love it! it seems like so many cars these days have those very large front ends that are wide and tall. why is that?

I drove the car today with the V8 5.0L Engine.
To be honest - I am really impressed. I have never considered a Jag - except the XK, but this one: Chapeau Jaguar!
It drives simply awesome, it has all the features a modern luxury car should have and it is not overpriced. About 87.000 for a fully equipped V8 is not too bad.
Since it was a preproduction car there were here and there some quality issuses(some leather stitching werent 100% perfect) and not working electronic(sunroof, massage seat worked only at the back), but that will be fixed for sure

This car will definitly stand out between all the "classic design" cars like the new A8, S-Class and even the 7-Series. Jaguar - you are going the right way!
