A little off-topic, but worthy nonetheless...

A very cool 1956 Jaguar D-Type Sports Racer sold for $3,740,000 at the Gooding Auction this weekend...great history behind the car and obviously a lot of people wanted to buy it. Not sure what you would do with it, but hopefully they will drive it...hard.

Yes, very attractive car to say the least...

To my knowledge, the public auction record is $12.4 million set last year by a Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa and the private record is just that...private. The rumor is that a 250 GTO sold for mid-to-high 20s.
