Sport steering wheel for 2010 Range Rover Sport

We just made this Range Rover Sport steering wheel with ergonomic side grips and piano black top and bottom inserts!
Better handling and nice interior upgrade!

This wheel looks beautiful. However I have a couple of questions. Perhas it's just the pics but is the wood 'skinny' on the top compared to the thickness on the sides or bottom? Also I guess this defeats the purpose of having a heated steeering wheel? Or do the leather parts still heat up?

The wood portion is same (on the very top) as the wood portion at the bottom!
All our steering wheels are NO HEAT function! Due to our process, we can not retain the heat mesh underneeth the leather!
