It’s become a trend for older automakers to build historic collections of its lineup from years past. Porsche has done it, Mercedes has an amazing collection, Audi has an entire wing devoted strictly to its racecars, and now Jaguar wants in on the collection building.

Harry Metcalfe, previously the man behind Evo Magazine and now the head of Jaguar Special Operations announced that the company had purchased a cool $170 million of vintage Jaguars and other classics from car collector James Hull in the UK.
