Performance Springs

Neu-F performance lowering springs reduce body roll during cornering, and front end dive under heavy braking. Plus, the kit also reduces wheel-well gap to create a more aggressive look for your car.

Why our springs are different from our competitors'?
Based on our experience and the results of intensive R&D, we concluded that the factory Abarth has near perfect 'spring rate to vehicle weight ratio'. The car handles well out of the box so we decided to increase the spring rate slightly and only reconfigure the static height. This lowers the center gravity and gives an even front and rear stance. This also enables the car to keep ride quality similar to stock Abarth's firmness and rely on sway bar upgrades to enhance the handling characteristics.

Rear Torsion Bar

The Fiat 500 turbo/Abarth's rear suspension does not have a common 'sway bar' because, technically, no part of it is connected to the subframe. We call this a torsion bar because it works by countering any twisting motion on Fiat's rear axle beam (and not independent) suspension.

Neu-F 28mm rear torsion bar is the perfect upgrade from the 22mm stock diameter bar. Its diameter has enough size jump to actually make a difference and keep the back-end flat. This will essentially help to induce more over steer. If you drive your Turbo Fiat as it meant to be driven, then you need this bar to take the handling to the next level. Featuring powder coated aerospace grade steel material with remarkable shape memory, and knurled ends for solid mounting.

The Neu-F Bars will improve cornering potential due to increased front/rear roll stiffness that offers definite track and autocross advantage over stock anti-roll bars. Increased slip angle will allow power to be applied earlier during corner exit.

Front Anti-Roll Bar

Neu-F Front Anti-Roll Bar is made with aerospace grade steel material with remarkable shape memory and is formed utilizing CNC Mandrel bender which ensures smooth bends, accurate shape and consistency through out its length. The bar also features forged ends with 2 hole for a 3-way adjustability that allows suspension to be finely tuned for optimum handling balance.

Also Included are billet aluminum 7075-T6 CNC machined bushing clamps with a black hard anodized finish for durability. The billet clamps are equipped with grease fittings which allow users to re-grease the bushings with ease. The low resistance, graphite impregnated urethane bushings round out the package.

Short Shift Adapter

Neu-F's Patent Pending short shift adapter is made utilizing CNC machined Chromoly Steel. This material is known for its high Rockwell hardness which gives the adapter its strength and rigidity. Another good characteristic of Chromoly is its material density and weight. The heavy and solid adapter acts like counter weight, giving the forward/aft shifting motion a much smoother feel, eliminating notchy gear engagement.

Since our kit is a mere adapter and not a complete lever, it is naturally cost a lot less to machine compared to the full lever kit currently available in the market. Also, by not having to replace the entire assembly like our other competitor's products, the installation procedure will be much simpler. With less parts to remove, this reduces the chances of damaging stock components. Neu-F Short Shift Adapter reduces 25% of shift travel, which is about maximum before the ball linkage starts contacting and damaging the center console.
