2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STi

The non nav/bbs was gray and the loaded one was black.
I was quoted these prices 3 weeks ago. The dealer is Gerald Subaru in Naperville, Illinois. Mind you these prices were over email. So if I was interested and went in person to buy it on the spot, I am sure there could be some more savings.

Oh well, he had a good time driving the car to MN from the Maryland/D.C. area.

I own an 04 beast STI. I love the car. This new body style is is SERIOUSLY growing on me. I think in time it will on most. STI's are without a doubt the best performing car for the money ever built. With some very expensive mods, the car can safely put over 350hp to the wheels, and handle like it is on rails. I would buy another, and and 08 in a heartbeat. These cars shock most people

My buddy has that dark grey one. Its actually really comfy inside. Virtually no turbo lag either with the factory setup. Cobb used his car for the prototype Dp and exhaust. They also did the AccessPort on his.

My sister just bought a Red one and I love it. We traded the other day, my z06 for her sti (for a couple hours) and lemme' tell you I had a ball. The car is good looking, a blast to drive, and it handles the back roads like a true rallie car. Turns out she parked my z saying it was too fast for her taste. Anyway, I am considering buying a dark grey one and modding the hell out of it. Do Suburau dealers offers kits from the factory ?

Most of Subaru's aftermarket stuff in this country is to upgrade lesser vehicles to STi performance. The japanese side has cool stuff though. The STi Genome exhaust is damn sexy.
For normal aftermarket stuff, you can't go wrong with Cobb. www.cobbtuning.com
Get an accessport, TBE, and stage 2 map. It's a good start.
Also check out some subaru boards for modding advice.

I was reading a post over on IWSTI that showed a guy with an 08, DP and Cobb St. 2 map that went to get it pro-tuned by a reputable tuner. The tuner said that there really wasn't anything more he could do to better the map. This was SoCal on a 91 octane map. The speculation was a TBE would enable the pro-tune to get more but I don't think Cobb has an off the shelf map for a TBE on the 08 yet. I could be wrong on that, but power aside a TBE sounds great.

Bought one! It was bound to happen...
