After accident hangover
I miss my s2k! Esp since my other car is a 96 avalon (good car tho, 226,xxx miles and running like new) So the body shop told me that it would be about 4 weeks before I get my car back. (It has already been there 10 days!) Is this typical? The body shop said they are extremely busy, but 5 or 6 weeks without my car seems just too long to replace a bumper, fender, and headlight?

It sounds like a long time, but good body shops are busy for a reason. Would you rather have your car back in 7 days with shoddy paint, or wait for the proper job? We have a local shop that does great work, but they can be quite slow. They get a ton of business, so that adds to the delay even more. Be patient grasshopper

its an s2ki meet at deals gap, tail of the dragon. its actually next weekend but unfortunately you have to register to attend and the reg is closed already. of course its a public road so you could always come take a look, but all the scheduled activities would be off limits
