the sidewall height is actually a percentage of the width, so if you maintain the same sidewall rating, then a thinner tire will also be shorter.

235/40/18 is 25.4" tall (3.7" sidewall)
225/40/18 is 25.08 tall (3.54" sidewall)

Why don't you try some SSR, CCW or Work wheels (later on of course, if you want)? Those are pretty nice too. In the 2000-3000 dollar range.

Fikse, HRE, 360 Forged, and all those are in a different league.

I think it looks great! The red line is a very nice touch that makes a world of difference compared to just flat black wheels.

BTW, that is one of the cleanest FDs I've ever seen. Very nice!

thanks for the kind words.......but it actually does need a good paint job......its great from 10ft away, but up close there are quite a few flaws. the paint is original 16 years old!!!


i have a new exhaust on the way to get rid of the annoying fart pipe exhaust, and some subtle side skirts to add.
ill post some new pics when theyre installed.

What coils did you go with?

I ended up going with the Teins.
