Project RX8 Fully Equipped with 20B Motor
#17
Oh yes, still going on. Motor was dead when we went to crank it. So we had Rotary Rockets here in AZ rebuild it for us. Now we are going through the reassembly process. We got our custom fuel rails back which are being installed with the larger injectors. We always update pics here - http://www.vividracing.com/forums/ga...?i=13365&c=297

There are adapters to mate that tranny to a rotary bellhousing allready.
BTW.. Putting a GT37 on a 20b is on the same scale as putting it on a v10 Viper motor!
Might as well leave the stock turbos and run them in parallel.

Cris is right. The GT37 is way too small for the 20B. It will be a restriction in the exhaust setup. Look at a 42R or the BW 475 or 480. You will need something close to the 1.32 exhaust housing on that as well. The BW starts at 1.10 and I would go no smaller on a T4. You could even go T6.
For reference I run a 67mm precision turbo on my rx7 w/ a .96 exhaust housing. I have 17psi on pump by 3800 rpms. When you are shifting at 8K that is a wide powerband. That is 3rd gear by the way.
Good luck on the build and keep us updated.
