My New Whip! Re Amemiya Rx7
This is my first post but I have been a lurking member (and drooler!) of sixspeed for some time now. It is an exeptional forum, one of the finest car forums around I would say! Im always checking out the lamborghini section every time I go on.
Here is my new car, I picked it up last tuesday and am very happy with it! Its one of 8 Re Amemiya Rx7s in the world (still the only one in the uk afaik), finished in a house of kolour candy blend of cherry, violet and burgundy.
Body
•RE Amemiya AC037 front end (including genuine Porsche 911 (993) lights, FRP hood and nose cone)
•RE Amemiya AD step D1 side skirts (FRP)
•RE Amemiya AD Front Fenders (FRP)
•RE Amemiya Rear spats
•RE Amemiya rear light garnish/spoiler
•RE Amemiya style rear Street Diffuser (Mark 1 diffuser)
•AeroMarker aero mirrors (with side repeaters added)
•Carbon door handles
•Re-spray in House of Kolor Kandy Burgundy / Wild Cherry blend (over deep mica violet metallic base) 2:1 blend ratio.
•Car fully "smoothed" to emphasize lines of car and bodykit. Rear wiper, wash, ariel, and side markers removed. Front washers relocated. Front side markers removed. Front side repeaters and indicators removed relocated. Boot lock, number plate holder and badges removed and smoothed.
•Rear quarters and shut lines levelled and smoothed to meet bodykit.
•Fuel filler removed and re-located to boot (aero-cap).
Interior
•RX7 Type X (luxury model) full deep red leather interior (incl head lining). Recently cleaned and refurbished.
•Deep red interior plastics
•Deep red leather trimmed centre console, centre dash and dome
•Deep red mats (imported from USA)
•Factory option "RX7" stamped aluminium sill plates
•GReddy Oil Pressure, Oil Temp & Water Temp Gauges (in dash-mounted pod)
•GRreddy PRofec B Spec II Boost controller
•Blitz monster boost gauge
•Momo Millennium Evo leather steering wheel with snap off momo boss for security
•Momo carbon & aluminium gear ****
•Momo handbrake cover & leather gaiter
•Apexi commander (displays car stats to monitor performance) in R Magic holder

•Black vinyl trimmed fibreglass rear boot build (easily removed without damage to car)

•13B Rotary Engine (twin turbo) with complete strip down and re-build by Lindop Motorsport in March 2008 (using approved Mazda parts).
•Perished hoses replaced, solenoids checked, vitton check valve upgrade for reliability.
•Exedy clutch (new – March 2008), clutch release valve and clutch cylinders replaced.
•Royal purple oil.
•Apexi Power FC ECU – Mapped by WGT. 318 BHP @ the Fly
•Greddy down pipe.
•Straight through mid-pipe / de-cat.
•Auto Project De-storm exhaust back box.
•2 x HKS "Mushroom" filters (with red elements) & polished hard pipes.

very unique, and lovely car.... I used to own a 94 FD R1 edition myself, still miss it to this day.
I personally would have went with the other version of the Ameyima RX-7, it looks better, but I understand you're going for the rarity factor as your car is only 1 of 8 like you said... how come you don't have the rear over fenders like you see in this red one ?
this is the other version I was talking about, there is a guy locally here that has a yellow one, I see it at all the car meets, it's awesome..

Ah that one above is actually a Super Greddy Aero kit, it looks gorgeous but is quite different when you look closely, It was made after the Re Amemiya kits came to fruition. It uses more modern 997 lights instead of 993s. The result is a more modern, track like look. Stunning!
The other Re kit is sweet too! They really are the kings of the FD.

I saw one of those at SEMA a few years ago...yours is the first I've seen since. I really think those lights blend well with the FD......unique and rare with attention thrown in....thanks for the pics.

i remember this car. does anyone know pricing for this kit? i remember a triangular style exhaust on this car as well
