Very clean Sti...........I had an 05 with a few bolt-ons, ecutek tune etc. and it was a very fun little car but the harsh ride left my fillings rattled and too many honda civic rycers wanting to race!

yup, which is why i'm planning to get rid of mine. even thought i've got stiffer bushings, mounts, springs, etc, on the car, it actually made the car smoother overall. i love this thing, and smile every time i drive it (daily, actually), but i'm sick of the negative attention. if it isn't some kid trying to race me, it's a cop thinking i'm street racing or something.
just last week i got pulled over for "blowing through a stop sign at 38 mph" (as the cop put it) in my neighborhood, which is 25 mph. a minute later, he said i stopped 6 feet farther than i should have for the stop sign. when i brought up the fact that it's impossible to stop from 38 mph to zero in 6 feet without a solid wall, he had nothing to say. (not only that, but i never break the speed limit in my neighborhood - or any neighborhood. i always do between 18-23 mph, never over 25.) two days later, i walked out to my driveway and noticed a cop sitting around the corner from me. i got into my car, took my time getting settled in to see if he would drive off (he didn't), and drove away to go to work. he followed me out of my neighborhood, then just stopped at the main road and didn't move until i could no longer see him in my rear-view mirror.
i love my STi, but as soon as i get a few small things fixed on it, it's going up for sale.

I used to have all kinds of problems with cops in my '05 with the wing, including sheriffs following me with radar on full blast. I get 0 attention from the local roadside revenue collectors in the hatch.
Will post more once the stock/winters come off in a few weeks.
