My latest evo build...

Nothing too crazy this time around. Building it for weekend track events and daily driver. It started life as a 2006 EVO IX MR/SE. I bought it with 22K miles and it needed some love This is what two months of tinkering has gotten me so far. The complete build thread is on evom if you want to check out all the pics. Best part is my 10mo old son loves it

How do you like the Girodisc 2 piece lightweight? I'm thinking about getting them for my Evo 9.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. Im taking my time on this one. I like the Girodisc rotors. But the rear brake pads come extremely close to the hats on the rotors. I recommend grinding down the pads. I reversed my pads. I put the innner on the outside and they clear but minimally. But they look great, are light, and fit nicely. Just the pads come kind of close. Not a biggie but putting that out there

Ive been kind of dormant with my new son coming into our lives. It is a full time job But we are making some head way on the build.

First off, thanks to Mike and the AWD crew. Super nice guys and really enjoyed the day. Mike lent me the dyno and we played quite a bit on it. Derek did an amazing job getting this thing tuned. Not one hiccup. Power is smooth and strong.

Now for the good stuff. Look at the whp at 8K rpms. It feels amazing.

This was done on straight 93 octane and only 25 psi. AFR's are right at 11.5 with zero knock.
