The only way you can own and drive a Nissan skyline (R32-R34) in the United States is if it solely used on a track.
Motorex did try to get some legally converted and there were some for a while but now the Feds are back to just seizing all of them. Many people think Motorex was just forging the test that had to be done to get passed the rules anyway.
But you can wait until the R32's start to become legal due to the 25 year old law and just declare them a collector car.

You will probably be waiting a long time for a fully legalized Skyline GTR (whatever Motorex cars were grandfathered in). Prepare to pay a great deal.

You have a beautiful R34, Keith right? We talked years ago about trading my e46 M3 + cash for your R34. Only reason i didnt wanna do it is because it would have been my only car lol

not gona happen saddly. friend has an r33, legally registered as only r33 were. he has it somewhere since yes, feds took two of them. i wanted one too but didnt want to spend 50k to have it siezed, so i bought an nsx. my plan though, register it with my uncle in canada since you can import cars after 15 years there. worst case get it deported back to canada.
