Hi all, I love good-looking, fast cars… this form has an abundance of them, so I signed up… Thought I’d post a quick intro too... I’m an AZ member and here’s my car:

The first and last time I was at the drag strip with the turbo kit I blew the stock motor as I shifted into 4th gear, I let off the throttle and coasted to a 13.5 @ 109… lol, that’s actually I built the motor, I’ll be returning to the track this fall though.

At 14 psi I made 466 whp & 466 torque, ran out of injector and turbo at that point. I have less than 1,500 miles on this motor too, I’ll be redoing the fuel system and upgrading the exhaust housing early next year.

Nice. Props for keeping the car looking stock. Any issues with traction at that power level?

Thanks, yeah, at WOT traction out of first and most of second is essentially non existent on 10+ psi with street tires (usually just ease onto the throttle to get the car off the line)… I’m looking to pickup Nitto 555R’s for the strip, also need to setup my ProEFI traction control.

welcome!!! ya the stock vq can handle 400whp safely I would say. not surprising that the stock block blew with that power. good to see that it's built now though!! some good numbers to be seen hopefully

Yeah, I'm hoping to get some more seat time, then I'll work on increasing the boost!
