blew the headgasket aswell so have to rebuild the motor this coming week. swapping injectors to id1000s doing some jwtc1hr cams springs and retainers and looking into rebuilding my current gt2871's with the need billet compressor and turbine wheels or going up to a gtx 3076. and removing the water meth system while its apart. causing unnecessary headaches

was running low on cash when we put it back together last time and the stock HR cams have more lift that the DE's and supported my flow goals of 700. so i didnt do the cams or anything since the turbos would only support that much and my 850 DW injectors were fine for that.

got a little more money now so beefing it up a little more while its apart

Do you know why the head gasket popped?

not yet, not even positive thats what happened. But there is definetly air getting in the cooling system when the car is under load. Motor is coming out this week and were going to find the culprit. headgasket just seems the most likely at this point

my guess is improper deck of the heads first time around. none of the headstuds stretched, sleeves didnt drop. so thats what were left with. redecked them and hoping for the best xD
