So far, the front end is the only thing it has going for it.

 

The Rapide is gorgeous. Me want.

 

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I prefer the Panamera.

 

+1 , The Rapide is beautiful, but just a stretched DB9 imo, while the Panamera is a whole new model. (But I'm certainly not saying the Rapide is ugly, lovely car either)

 

i dont think it would be fair to compare them right now. look at how much more camo'd up the panamera is...

 

+1. I agree fully, but I think the consensus of most people is that a pig in a dress is still a pig. I hope that the camo is done well enough that they are laughing at us in Germany right now.

Rapid looks much better, sad to say but if this is close to what the Panamera will look like, that is sad

 

I think I can just hear them busting guts in beer gartens all over Germany at this very moment!

 

The devil is in the details, and you can't see any on the Panamera yet. I definitely like what I see in the teaser shot.

 

Porsche are much uglier here than Rapid but if we try to compare the Panamera as of now...Hmmmp..It's quite obvious..nevermind..

 

I agree the Rapide is better looking but i would like to see a grown adult fit in the back. A lot of good looks are if it has no function.

 

i could see the advertisement for Aston right now.

show these pictures and under the poopoomera have a caption saying "Would you buy this?"


however we must wait till the panamera is fully uncovered, only then can we say how we feel.

uuummm surprised about this discussion on look. since when is a Porsche good looking? Porsche is a sign of surperb engineering, no doubt. on the other hand astons are know to be beautiful (OK there are the occasional failure in the past but generally speaking...)
