Winter is coming. What is the best Rim/Tire Solution?

I have a 2010 Panamera Turbo just bought a month ago. Looking at winter I'm looking for a second set of rims/winter tires. Any one have any advise. I bought this car as my first car not second car so I plan to drive through winter. Or would All Seasons on my Turbo 2's work?

Actually just found out there are no All Season Tires for the 20 inch Wheels.

Unless you have the ceramic brakes, you have a few options; you can use the OEM 19s ("take offs" from upgrades are out there) with snows or the Pirelli snows are available in 20" that might fit your wheels (fit better or narrower rims though). Michelin and Pirelli both makes Winter sets in 19" and 20" and there are less costly wheel options out there also. 'Tis the season, so there should be packages popping up from the usual sources.

No Ceramic Brakes just the Red Calipers on the Panamera Turbo's. Since this is my first winter I'll be looking for some deals. I think 19 inch takes offs is the way to go. Any idea on the usual sources?

Wheel Enhancement <board sponsor check to the right> has a selection; Suncoast <another sponsor> had a package at a great price last year. Tire Rack is another option; tires were there and they had a few non OEM wheel options.

Believe it or not, a good set of 20" winter wheels with tires and sensors (19s are just so lame) can cost a fortune....I have enquired with a few dealers and nothing under $9K so far. I am on the look out for a slightly used set but then our cars are so new I highly doubt the availability of a used set at least until next winter

Suncoast is advertising them for around 6k with winter tires, check their site! Sunset may even be cheaper!

I'll drive it when there's no chance of snow throughout the winter but it's just not worth the money to buy snows and rims - otherwise the Jeep is like a mountain goat.

I just bought my winter setup.

18" OEM take-off wheels from ebay, Pirelli winter tires from Tirerack, TPMS + valve stems at Suncoast. Total amount spent was $2500.

Very small price to pay for an extra winter car to use. And it should last me 4 seasons or more.

Will 18 inch wheels work for a Panamera Turbo with Red Caliper (no Ceramic Brakes)?

Those are Winter Tires. Yes I know there are Winter tires for the 20" Wheels but are there Performance All Season's?
