P4S must have Options

Was all set on an M3 (6sp manual, of course) but now i need something that the soon to be wifey can drive. I keep thinking about a Panamara. Ideally, i'd love to pick up a TT but i have a feeling it will be out of my price range, even used. So, i'm thinking about picking up a P4S slightly used in about 4 months. AWD will def help since its my daily driver. What do you guys think?

Most imporantly, what are the must have options on the P4S that i should be looking for?

Other option is a CayenneTT, GTS or S but i dont think i want a truck.

Hoping to send around $70K.

Thanks for your thoughts guys and happy thanksgiving!!

I feel that lumbar support is rather important, the basic seats don't have enough support; and being a German car, they don't come standard with lumbar!

Backup camera is the other must-have, rear visibility can be tough.

Thats about it on a practical level, the rest is all cosmetic and is there to satisfy your emotions.

JAX GT3 is infamous around these parts
Options Recommended

#1: Air Suspension and Sport Chrono

#2: Backup Camera

#3: Full Leather Interior

I am assuming it comes with Bose, Bluetooth and Audio Interface (haven't seen one that doesn't)

Strongly recommend looking at a used TURBO. Includes many options as standard equipment.

Cheers, JohnnyB

the turbo will be my first choice, of course! Just not sure i'll be able to get one in the $70's in 4-6 months (April/May 2011). What do you guys think?

Backup Camera, Sport Chrono, 20 RS Spyder or Turbo II wheels. That's it! We ordered a car without Bose, and the base stereo is more than adequate for non audiophiles.

Manheim prices for 2010's are nowhere near $70,000, and for a 4S, you'll be lucky to see $80,000 in a few months. Mid to upper $70,000's for a 2S with limited options and >20,000 miles. These cars seem to really be retaining their value if not really loaded with options.

yeah i agree, especially since the 4S production was reduced to build hte base panameras and P4, i see no chance of $70k happening by then. If you look at 9114S, the 09s are asking mid to high 80s and i would expect the panamera to do around that level or maybe better just given less supply and year options than the 911.

Air suspension
Chrono
Back up camera
Full leather
20" either spyder or turbo II wheels

That's about all the necessities you need on this car.

If 2011- Sport Chrono, Backup Cam. If 2010 - same plus Bluetooth, universal audio, and Nav. (all standard now on the '11).

Good luck gettin in a 4S at 70k... maybe a 4 or just an S.

You'll be fine with a 4S

The turbo is indeed outrageous. Nevertheless, for a DD, the 4S will be quite satisfying. In comfort mode, it is a really nice ride. Put it in sport (or even better, sport plus), and it takes on a whole new character. If you can get a TT for that price, IMO, by all means go for it. Options: back up camera, bluetooth, universal audio interface, seat ventilation (yes-essential!), steering wheel warmer (not essential but take my word for it-you won't regret it). Get it. You won't look back. I love my Panny S!!!
