Oil warning displayed but gauge reading normal

Just left from the resort and the minimum engine oil warning came on. I warmed it up for about 20mins and had driven about 5 miles when warning popped up. Gauge was dead center, engine tone was normal. Temp is about 30 degrees but the car has been sitting outside since Friday with temp hovering in the teens. Anybody else experience this?

What is your Oil Level gauge reading now (in your multifunction display under "Vehicle") after you added the quart? Each box/segment equals approximately .25 quart. The top box should be empty as the "Max" line is just below the top box. Be careful not to overfill - you could damage your cats.

You should be good to Go!

FYI - Oil reservoir in this gauge will turn red if oil level drops below MIN level.
