Spoiler up or down

Spoiler up or down
Just want to see how other panamera owners have their spoiler settings. I personally have my spoiler set on always up (even when parked). I feel it gives the panamera a more aggressive sporty look and helps balance out the backend.
When passing other oncoming panameras I always check my mirrors and see that your spoiler is down.
feedback would be great....

Just my personal opinion, but when I see a Carrera or Panamera with the spoiler up while parked or driving slowly (below the speed where it was designed to be raised) I always think it is a bit poseur-ish...I just think it looks like someone is trying too hard...I don't really get it. I am sure some people think it looks good, but just my opinion.

I agree completely.
I also do not see where a protruding spoiler makes a parked Panamera's rear end look any better.. In my opinion, it is just an affectation..

Hadn't thought about locking it in the up position. But that maybe a good idea, long term to prevent wear and tear on the hydraulics. Mine is up and down so many times that I wonder if that will be the 1st thing to out mechanically. I might start leaving it in the up position. Good stuff, thanks!

I think there is NOTHING poseur-ish about running the spoiler up all the time. Car, in my opinion, is MUCH more filled out in the back end with the spoiler up. Just looks cleaner all around.

I roll with mine up most of the time, I also think the car looks much better with something back there. I guess the vorsteiner duck tail would get it done as well, just needs something more to distract from the roundness.

I like it up too. Just had the car for a few days, so reserve the right to change my mind
As for being "poseur-ish" the dealership I go to must agree that it looks better up since every Panamera in the showroom has the spoiler up.....go figure.

I let it come up on its own; really don't care what the back end looks like - only drivers of other cars get to see it anyway. Car always seems to look just fine from the driver's seat - and watching the spoiler pop up in the mirror is pretty cool. Always a little disappointed that the 997 spoiler was invisible from inside the car.

I always leave mine up. I think the rear of the car looks far less bulbous with the spoiler breaking the lines of the tail. I am not showing off. As a matter of fact, I de-badged my PTT. I oredered it with out model designation and also removed the PORSCHE letters.
On the other hand I never leave the tail up on my 997 TT.
