I was sold on Black until reading this... the car being dirty part is easy to fix, but swirl marks would drive me nuts!!! Is it THAT noticeable on Black?

 

bump - great thread. Been debating between the two colors. In real life, black looks stunning. Basalt black just looks dull to me in comparison but I can certainly appreciate how it hides swirls and dust etc. I see far my basalt black for sale than black - at least in the used market.

 

I vote black for sure. But I am also Biased. Why would you want a car that hides dust? Doesn't that mean it just looks dusty. The Basalt black isn't impressive to me. Either choose the Carbon Grey or the Black. I just bought a 2012 Black Panamera 4S it is smoking! Make sure you rinse your car before washing and use microfiber. It will help with swirls.
