Catchacab is infamous around these parts
The shifters are place very low in both the front and in the rear. Most LIDAR guns beams are wider than they are tall. At 1000 ft most LIDAR guns have a beam width of 36 inches some are smaller with a beam width of 30 inches. At 500 feet the beam will be 15 to 18 inches, 250 feet the beam is 7.5 to 9 inches. That combined that the escort ZR4 is not a great laser jammer, punch throughs will happen regularly on the front. The rear will perform as it not there. The shifters are also too recessed. Don't believe me, fly me out to Seattle, dinner at Shiro's. If I get multiple readings, cost is on you, if I can't get readings, cost is on me.

The front of the Panamera is difficult to protect well, best option is a three head install. Heads above the turn signals one head by the license plate.

If ZR4s were such good laser jammers, why do both moderators of the Escort Radar forum use other laser jammers.

Trust me, if you drive over the officers threshold, you will pay much more in speeding tickets and increased insurance premiums. You are now driving with a false sense of security.

When you buy a car that cost over $150K, I expect you did your research before purchasing it. You should also research radar detectors and laser jammer before purchasing them too.

I almost purchased a 9500Ci. I figured that Escort has been around for a long time and has a great reputation for radar detectors. I reasoned that their laser shifter must also be top notch. After doing my research, I found that was not the case. I also explored and tested different installations of various laser jammers.

Do more research.

My PTT has Laser Interceptor Quad System with V1 integrated with a Cheetah GPS Mirror. Very High Tech. Nothing beats this setup. I recently went to a Jammer Meet in Buffallo NY and Let me tell you no gun can get a speed on my setup more than 50 feet away.

If you are going to do it right do all the research first. On your own without listening to anyone which is best and come up with your own answers.

Lots of smart guys at http://www.radardetector.net

My first line of defense: Laser interceptor and V1 Combo

My 2nd line of defense: Vetrans License Plate

My 3rd line of defense: Physician ID

And of course you need common sense and constant awareness. I havn't had a ticket in 15 years.

The smart ones have moved over to radardetectorforum.org.

Did Aoshi or Victor shoot your car?
