Real old thread but I was curious if any previous posters had any feedback on the extended warranties.

I am considering purchasing one through 5-Star, although my mechanic is telling me not to bother.

I have to call around....just seems crazy to me.
Call Troy Dietrich, 413-773-5455, and see his price on a FIdelity plan. I paid $3307 on my 2012 P4 with 11500 miles for a 6 year 60,000 mi Platinum warranty. Absolutely the best price, he does it on volume sales.

Have you had to use the warranty for anything yet?

Thanks

No, I just got it last month, but it was what my local Porsche dealer was trying to sell me for almost $2000 more!

I reached out to Troy who yes is very nice and helpful but I found out that he wont sell you Fidelity warranty if the car in question is past the 50k mile range or old enough to be out of the manufacturer's warranty. Example would be any 2010 or 2011 Turbos which is quite disappointing.

Anyone had any luck buying a 2010 or 2011 Turbo and getting it covered through Fidelity at a good price?
