Here is another one, for those who have adaptive cruise as I do. Often I engage adaptive cruise when I get into crappy traffic on the freeway. But I don't really want to lock in 15 MPH as the speed I want, as then when traffic speeds up I am still going only 15 MPH. What I have found I can do is engage adaptive cruise, then push forward on the stick to increase the set speed. Each press forward is 1 MPH, or if you hold it forward it jumps by 5 MPH increments. So I can engage it, then set it to some significantly higher speed, so only the distance to the car in front of me is holding me back should things start to clear. Then I can just steer, watch for any need to intervene, and fantasize about the next time I will be able to have a pleasant drive somewhere...
