I live in FInland, we have 6mo of snow and the rest is rain. 20 inch wheels work fine. This is this April here:

20" Bridgestone Blizzacks.... They are runflats too (Not Porsche approved)... But they are great tires. Even went on the track with them... Got them on TireRack...

Options Recommended

Your options look great. Perhaps the Rear Window Shade and the Rear Doors Window Shades.

Options look great. In conjunction with the shades, I love the thermal & sound insulating glass. In California (not sure about Vancouver), it makes a huge difference especially when parked out or driving in the sun. Makes cruising on the highway more quiet, too, but some people may prefer to hear more noise.

was actually talking to the dealer.. the recommended me NOT to get the noise and thermal insulating glass because we get good sun perhaps two months max a year....

how much sound reduction do the glass provide though? kind of curious since there's probably no way for me to test it....

This is a very quiet car with the insulated glass, however, I think it insulates everything also exhaust notes. You can have a normal conversation without raising your voice at 250kmh on the autobahn, its that good. The insulated windows are a very nice comfort option, not a must.

Noise and Thermal Insulated Glass

There are some disadvantages associated with the Glass Option. Do a search and you will find that radar detector issues are significant.

There're only two small areas in the windshield in front of and to each side of the rearview mirror where radar signal can go through. When I mount the Valentine1, it takes some time to adjust it to fit up there, and it can see only from the front but not from the back. However, the side and rear indicators on the V1 will continue to work for a short period such that you will know when you've passed the source of the radar. But you won't know if someone is gunning you from behind. I have not compared without and with the thermal/noise glass option, so I can't say how much noise reduction the option adds. I do know that the dual-pane windows are standard in the MB S class.
