Congrats, you're lucky to have found a car in GT silver. That's a great color!

Looks like a great find.

The dealer did mine; however, I know a guy in Ellicott City who has a clear bra business...he does work for a lot of area dealers and has done several of my cars. The company is ProForm, telephone number is (410) 750-8371...ask for Rob.

Long story short, I have been interested in the Panamera since it arrived on the market and knew I wanted an all-wheel drive V8; I had been informed that 4Ss were difficult to find, so I was thinking towards a GTS...hence, the reason I was so pleased to find this car!
I too was on the BMW forum F07GT. Turning my 2011 550iGT in on Monday (early termination with 9 months left on lease) and picking up my 2013 PS hybrid. After reading this thread, I called the dealer about getting a clear bra installed. Powers that be were not available for a quote so I'll have to get the charges tomorrow. I am also on the 996 forum on 6speedonline.com.
Great to be here. I will post pix as soon as I take delivery.

I just got a quote for $1250 from dealer for the clear bra They cover a lot of car area including the mirrors, lights etc . They can do it Monday am so I can take delivery in the afternoon. I decided to go ahead with the job, having the dealer responsible makes sense even if the cost is a little higher.

Tom, I spoke to the service mgr. who said white (which mine is) is the best color for not showing seam lines as long as the car's kept clean. They would recommend doing the complete fenders if the complete hood was done. The addition is another $850 to the job since they must use a much larger sheet. I think I'll stay with the 1/2 hood and fenders.

That's just a little bit more than what I paid and mine did not include the headlights...restrictive Virginia laws. You'll be happy you did it!
