Getting low MPG on my panamera 4

I just crossed 1000 miles on my p4.
I checked the mpg and its only showing 16.1 MPG.
I drove quite conservative during the initial 1000 mileage.
I'm about 60% highway and 40% city.
Doesn't this seem quite low and do you think I should give it more time before assessing if there is an issue.
I haven't had any low oil warnings either if that matters.
Thanks

Wow I'm way under that number. 26 MPG on that mix seems really good.

It all depends how you drive. If you're easy on the throttle and brakes, you'll get much better mileage.

I drove quite conservative for the first 1k miles. And in general I don't brake hard or accelerate full throttle often which is why I am a bit worried that the mileage is on the lower end.

Do you have the auto on/off function turned off? Are the tire pressures OK? Are you using the on-board computer to calculate mpg or are you basing on miles travelled/gallons used at fill-up? Are you using a/c all the time? Is it possible a disc brake is stuck and dragging-- does the car pull to one side?

You're only at 1000 miles. They engine is hardly broken in. It'll get looser as the miles pile on and mileage will go up.

However your right foot has the most to do with it.

also when i first got the car,i called the salesman up and said,"boy i get to 7th gear pretty fast and at a low speed".he said that`s the reason you will get such great gas mileage.
there is definatly something wrong
