Coming from a BMW, I am used to holding the unlock button for several seconds to open all the vehicle windows to cool the car down in a parking lot. Is this possible in the Panamera as well?

I works on my car.Just hold the unlock button and all the windows and the sunroof will open vice versa for closing.

My panamers is for the German market, maybe the US version does not have this feature.

 

Yes, you are correct. US bound and programmed cars DO NOT have this feature. Similar to reason with BMW you can't roll the windows back up for safety reasons, the Panamera cannot roll up or down. I am not sure what "safety" reason there is for rolling down. My understanding was, on the back up feature, that they didn't want people's (children's) arms caught in the glass.

I am sure it could be programmed, if you knew how.

I have a 2010 USA 4S and I can simultaneously roll down all 4 windows and open the sunroof by holding down the unlock button on the fob. In fact I do it almost daily.

 

I remember on my previous MB S-class I could use to remote key to roll up and down the windows and open and close the sunroof. No safety issues there.

 

Has anyone figured this out? I have a 2014 U.S. model and it doesn't work. I believe the dealer could potentially reprogram, but I'm guessing most dealers wouldn't even know they could do it.

 

being able to retrofit or recode options like that is one of the few things I miss from my BMW
