hydrolocked 4S

drove my 4s through a deep puddle during storm other day and engine is toast. water also came up into the interior while waiting for a tow. im afraid ins co will want to have car repaired with new motor, etc. i feel it should be a total and dont want a non matching flood report car. car has not been inspected by ins co yet

how should i go about negotiating with them? is having it at porsche dealer in my best interest since they might want the $ from a repair job? should i bring it to another shop? im so frustrated by this bc i always lease cars except in this instance and one other about 10 yrs ago that, guess what? had a blown motor also (due to failed oil pump)

any advice would be much appreciated
