I just had Photosync installed on my Panamera (sides + windshield installed by Premier). On a 90 degree temperature day, after sitting outside all day, upon entry, it was driveable without having to roll down the windows on drive off, it probably felt like 110+ degrees... On the road, the IR/heat rejection is awesome even though I only have 65 on sides and 75 on windshield.

 

cool. Is it scratch resistant against the seals on the side doors?

 

It does have a scratch resistant coating to protect it from scratches. However, certain vehicles with plastic mouldings should have some type of felt liner installed to minimize the wear on the film. Such vehicles would include: Panamera, Cayenne, bmw 3 series, etc.

 

Another Panamera completed. This one went with Spectra PhotoSync 55 on the front two windows and 35 on the rears. Customer liked the product so much, he is scheduled to come back two weeks later for Spectra PhotoSync 75 on the windshield for maximum heat rejection.
