Starting problems in cold weather
I have a 2012 Panny. The other morning I went outside to start my car and it didn't turn over when I turned the key. it took 3 times and finely started. I thought the battery might be dead or the starter was frozen. It was about 30 degrees here in SoCal. That is about as cold as she gets. Any thoughts what happened?

I had the car in Boston cold for 2 years, I never had such problem. Especially once I left the car untouched for 3 months as I was in Europe. Still no problems.

These cars have a lot of electrical parts, if you drive only short distances it might be low on juice. Also if tank was almost empty, you might have water condensation in the fuel.tank, when it's cold I always have a full tank. Sounds benign as it is related to cold. Also fuel octane probably affects starting. I think the main thing is that it started.

Thanks for everyone's response. Clearly it is NOT a cold whether problem. Our cold weather here in SoCal is like summer where some of you come from! I just wanted to see if there was any known problems. Apparentely not. If it happens again I will go to the dealer.
