I doubt so. The rear trunk lid is a little different. It used to house the camera, the trunk open/close button and the license plate light. Now it's moved to the bumper so even if they sell the conversion package, it won't be a cheap job to do.

Your right, I didnt notice that. Look like the front is easier to convert then...For me It is a pity to not have the LED ring on the turbo headlight. The new turbo lights llook so much like the currrent boxster.

looks good - but a V6 turbo?

Personally I like the update. Looks more like the boxster and 911, so it's a sportier look. Also, logic dictates that regardless of whether its a "better" design, it becomes the new standard once they hit the street.

My concern is the turbo V6. I don't doubt it's power, but rather its character. I have a 2013 vehicle with a turbo 6, and it's just as fast as its Porsche competitor with a naturally aspirated 4.8 V8, but man is the V8 better. Sound, and response are superior. It's just a better fit for a heavy full size vehicle. If the GTS looses the V8 it's game over panny. Lets hope not.

Side by Side comparison

Great side by side comparison of 970.1 and 970.2

Have no fear. 2014 Panamera GTS has the V-8, upgraded to 440 hp.

Info is now available on Porsche USA website.

looks like they removed some of the hunchback side view...good call there. And they needed to bump the S to 420 hp. Good work.

To be honest, I prefers the current front end where the DRL LEDs sit lower on the air louvres. The current front end also looks more sporty and aggressive.

Some good news is that you can now get ventilated seats on both seat options - prior to the 2014 model year, the adaptive seats could not be ventilated. No more. Great move. I was waiting for this, as it is a great feature, and was missing from those seats.

Agree - that was something they needed to correct. Now they need a heated sport steering wheel...

I have to agree - I like the old lights and old GTS front end better. Back end is about the same IMO.
