'14 Panamera Turbo in the garage tonight
Well after a long and frustrating sampling of every car under $220k to replace my 2011 Turbo - I have concluded that the PTT is the best available 4 door on the market so I just bought another one. It is my daily driver and it was great to have it delivered today.
The little refinements over my 2011 are much appreciated, I also got the Burmeister stereo this time. But I think my favorite is the full LED lights and the halo around the entire housing as the new turbo running lights - they look pretty cool.

Yes - they moved that switch to where the door lock button used to be and put the door locks on the door where they should have been.
Also - a weird choice a got was the all season tires - not because I drive it in the winter but to see if they last longer. I drove it today about 200 miles on the expressway and there was markedly less tire noise than my prior cars with the "summer" tires. I don't go to tracks or anything so I think it was a good choice.
The adaptive cruise is useful - have that on my R63
The Burmester is significantly noticeable compared to my old bose system.
The blind spot warning lights are actually very useful
The car seems quicker, a bit quieter and a bit smoother than my 2011 PTT but essentially they are the same in the performance category.
But the LED lights look damn cool - I have not driven in the dark yet. The halo for the DRL's is really cool. Like damn cool
Another great improvement over my 2011 is the car indicator on the nav screen now uses the tip of the triangle rather than the middle of the triangle to denote the car position - now you never miss turns when looking at the map as you had to wait for the tip to go past the street - I sent that idea to Porsche years ago.
A nice evolution of a great car.

DHH - I saw one today and noticed the new trunk open button by the spoiler (on the outside of the car)...interesting solution since the license plate cutout is now so much lower...do you like that new location?

The headlights are shaped slightly different from the 970.1 so I doubt it won't be cheap to swap them out. The whole front will need to be change since they updated the headlights washer as well.
