Infant Car Seats

Dear all,

I need to get a infant car seat to fit in into my panamera for my baby girl. Any recommendations? Good or not-so-great experiences with any brands? My panamera has ISOFIX so do also share if you have any issue with porsche ISOFIX. Many thanks and have a good day.

Nuna Pipa Car Seat

Hi, I have the same question. We bought an infant seat by Nuna called the Pipa. It is the lightest yet strongest infant car seat. When installing the base, a "leveling bubble" must hit a "line" in the bubble. My 911 and My Prius install correctly with the line in the bubble, but the Panamera seats sit so low that I can't get the base to work.

Has anyone else found a different seat that works for infants?

Well we are well beyond the years of car seats since our kids are teens. What I did do for our vehicles back then that had low back seats (which was nearly every vehicle we had), I used polyethylene foam (has a construction spec to it) to make a filler for the seat, wrapped it in felt, than the base sat on that. Worked great every time and the babies where at the right position. I even made a set for my parent's vehicles so they where all setup to take the babies. Funny now the seat base have bubble levels to get the angle right, back then had to make my own jig to get it right in every vehicle.

Hope that helps somewhat.

Agree with Morelli. A foam tube should do the trick.

I have a Maxi Cosi Prezi for my daughter, the base is adjustable, I can get the bubble in the right place in my Panamera.

Please do not use a foam tube (foam tube that has a hollow center), it will compress and allow for movement. You want to use a material that does not have a void in it.

Correct, my mistake in terminology. It's solid. My bad. I think they are called "noodles" not "tubes"

We bought the Porsche car from TechEquipment for our 3 year old. It fits nicely in the rear bucket seat. We also have a Maxi Cos and it was tough to get in and out with the base....
