What are my options to lower my 2010 Panamera S? My car has PASM so Im assuming I need an Electronic Lowering Module correct?... If so what are my options and which one do you guys recommend....

Ohh... and the obvious question... how much does it lower the car... and does anyone have pictures of the a Panamera on 22" lowered?

Thanks in advance...

You need a lowering module if you have the adaptive air suspension option.

Your choice of lowering without an air suspension is either swapping the springs or a coilover.

I've been researching lowering options for the Panamera for a while, since I'm considering it as our next vehicle. From my knowledge, the best lowering module out there is the KW DLC kit for the Panamera.

Here is the link. http://www.kw-store.com/products/kw-...porsche-w.html

Vivid Racing used it on their Panamera project car, and it looks damn good, I love how it works with your iPhone as well. Below is the video they made with the module, and that video made me fall in love with the Panamera (I was a hater before).

Hope this helped!

So the electronic modules can only lower the car an extra 40mm past the setting of Sport plus??... I might getting that correct?

You cannot lower your car with a module. You do not have air springs. PASM only controls the firmness of the shocks.

The only way to lower your car is with a new set of springs.

MackSea is correct, and I must have read it wrong. I apologize. You would need springs to lower it. The H&R springs lower the car on average for the Front lowering: 1.4 in, Rear lowering: 1.2 in.

Ohh ok... I thought that PASM meant that I had air suspension on the car like I had on my 06 E55 AMG.... and that I need it an ELM to lower the car. But if springs is all I need to lower the car it makes it easier and less expensive to get the job done.

probably a dumb question... But Im tyring to learn about this car.
I was under the impresion that some panamera's have air suspension and some have normal spring set up.... How do you know without lifting the car and looking that you have air suspension or springs set up?

So since what I need is springs to lower my car. Are the H&R springs the way to go? or are there other springs that I should also look into?

The KW DLC is expensive though, once you factored in the optional wifi module to control it wirelessly from your phone. Cost twice than the Renntech module which does the same thing less having the wireless function.

It's the other way around. 1.2 in the front and 1.4 rear. If you have the V6 the front will have a slightly larger wheel gap than the rear. The springs were made for all the engines of our car.....both V6 and V8.

I do not want to rain on any ones parade but what are the roads like where you live. I had an M6 which I lowered and put on some larger BBS wheels one night a little pot hole not seen caused a lot of damage that I am sure would have never happened if I had not did what I did to the car. These days I keep my lowered cars in the garage right through the winter. If I am not mistaken the left front has a lot of the cooling system and it is not that well shielded.

Very possible but lowering this car on H&R springs is very subtle. Some days I look at my car and wonder if it's even lowered or not. With 22" wheels there's still a 1.5 finger wheel gap apposed to 4 before lowering. Should have come in stock at this level in my opinion.
