Clicking noise when turning wheel at low speed??
2010 PTT, just got back from dealer after replacement of control arms for creaking noise heard when going over speed bumps. That has completely resolved. Also swapped snow tires/rims with summer tires/rims
Now i hear a loud clicking noise from somewhere under the car, at low speeds, turning the wheel goinf forward or reverse. No vibration in the steering column, just the noise.
Thoughts?
Ugh

low speed noise
I have pana gts and fell this at low speed turning around in driveway. I have ptv and we had signif problem on our cayenne S which also has ptv. There us a computer upgrade which turns off ptv at low speeds turning to eliminate the four wheel drive feeling. Our upgrade was too late and our problem got worse. I pushed porsche and they replaced entire rear differential correcting all symptoms. I hope this same problem not going to set in with gts. So far doesn't seem the same problem just big tires twisting at low driveway speed.

I have noticed that noise on my PTT and my friend's 911 carrera 4s. Mostly on the driveway when making a slow turn. Was told by the dealer and read in the forums that it is from the tire tread.

I am having the same issue, of the bad clicking noise and during turns at low speeds. My problem on my MY2013 GTS has been getting worse over the course of the last couple of weeks.
Not only is there there the clicking noise, I also feel the "skipping" in the steering column. It's quite severe. It only happens upon acceleration. I can make right turns without accelerating without feeling any of the skipping.
I think it could be my rear diff. Is there a way to reprogram the computer to adjust how the rear and front wheels work in conjunction with one another?
I really don't think my problem has anything to do with the tires.

I have the same problem. I talked to Porsche of Tyson's Corner and was told the skipping is the tires due to how ridged the side wall. The clicking noise I was told is the echo under the hood from the tires.
