Bird Strike

Bird Strike
Howdy All,
Have a rather interesting situation on my new panny ... was heading to work using my new daily driver and a stupid bird landed on the highway looking at me .... I was going 72 mph and right when I was near it, it started to fly and well .... only made it a foot up when I smacked it. Hit the darn thing so hard while facing me that all the feathers blew off !! WHAT A SHOW !!
Got to the office and discovered the strike was right over a distance sensor and knocked it out. Only way to plug that sensor back into the bumper is to remove the bumper, plug it in, and put the bumper back on .....
Has anyone removed the their bumper yet ? Any tips / advice ? Any hidden pins/clips/etc., to know about ?
Many thanks,
Roberto

My man... If you think taking out the front bumper is an alternative, please allow a complete weekend for the project.
I started it and stopped 1 hour later, as I broke a few things.
Dealer takes an hour labor time, well worth it. Talk to them and they might do it for free.
Good luck.

Update ....
Removing the front bumper turned out to be a piece of cake.
Took off the front wheels
Removed the wheel liner
Removed the inter-cooler liner
Removed the two screws fastening the bumper to the fender
Removed the screws across the bottem
Removed the trim plate in the engine compartment (snaps in and out)
Removed the screws in the engine compartment
Removed the slip pins by the head lights
Unplugged the side marker lights on the bumper (cable harness rather short)
Gently pulled the bumper back from the center and it slid right off its tracks !
Plugged and tested the sensor, all worked well and reversed the steps and was done in under two hours.
Washed and detailed the panny and she looks sharp !
Cheers !
