Current Discounts on 2014 Panny

Gents - I have a '14 Panny Turbo on order that should be here within a few weeks and just noticed that my dealer is offering discounts up to $21K on Pannys. Any thoughts about what others are getting or any incentives from Porsche?

They generally give me 6% to 7% off invoice, but at this point I want the $21K because I'm sure I'll be taking a big depreciation hit on the '14 given that '15's are around the corner.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

If it were me, I'd probably stick with the ordered car. I got the same off my order as you are getting and Porsche's option list is way too long to find something that has the options I am looking for.

Some people value the large discount, to me...getting the right car is more important.

Different strokes for different folks.

PMFJI but I'm in the NY area as well and am interested in a Panamera 4 (yea, that's right, no suffixes or additional phrases, I'm at the low end). Did I read you correctly that discounts in general are 6% to 7% off invoice? And up to 21% off invoice? Is that because they are '14s? Orders or in stock? Care to share the names of honest dealers?

BTW, what's the best source for Porsche invoice prices?

Thanks for any info or links you can provide.

6-7% off invoice?? That's a ton of money off. Here in Cincy they are offering about 4-5% off MSRP.

The Panamera is an excellent auto. If you have found a current Model Year for $21,000 off of invoice (!!!) you should sign for it tomorrow! The dealer is taking a bath, go for it if this is a legit deal.

I agree! $20K off of MSRP is crazy! There must be a push from Porsche NA for that to occur. Check it out: http://www.paulmillerporsche.com/

I got 6% off one of the first 2013 GTS's in town at Porche of the Village - great place. I would think you could get at least that now.

I think the other thing that Porsche has to deal with in the Panny class is that there is a lot of competition! Not that they are in the same class, but the new S-Class is doing really well!
